1、 Color
Due to the different color of the adherent, the color requirements of the hot melt adhesive film should be different. If the adherent has no special color requirements, yellow hot melt adhesive film is recommended. Generally speaking, the yellow hot melt adhesive film is better than the white one.

2、 Surface treatment of adherent
The surface treatment of hot-melt adhesive film is not as strict as other adhesives, but the dust and oil on the surface of the adherent should also be properly treated to make the hot-melt adhesive film play a better role in adhesion.


3、 Operation time
Fast operation is one of the characteristics of hot melt adhesive film. The operation time of hot-melt adhesive film is generally about 15 seconds. With the wide application of modern production mode assembly line, the operation time of hot-melt adhesive film is required to be shorter and shorter. For example, the operation time of hot-melt adhesive film for book binding and speaker manufacturing is about 5 seconds.

4、 Temperature resistance
Hot melt adhesive film is sensitive to temperature. When the temperature reaches a certain degree, the hot-melt adhesive film begins to soften. If the temperature is lower than a certain temperature, the hot-melt adhesive film will become brittle. Therefore, the selection of hot-melt adhesive film must fully consider the temperature change of the product environment.

5、 Stickiness
The viscosity of hot melt adhesive film is divided into early viscosity and late viscosity. Only when the early viscosity and late viscosity are consistent can the hot melt adhesive film and the adherent be stable. In the production process of hot-melt adhesive film, it should be guaranteed that it has anti oxygen, anti halogen, acid and alkali resistance and plasticization. Due to the different materials, the viscosity of hot-melt adhesive film is different. Therefore, different hot-melt adhesive films should be selected according to different materials.
